About Tau Kappa Epsilon (ΘΡ) fraternity

Tau Kappa Epsilon is fraternity for life. In the Theta-Rho Chapter we are true Tekes. We put academics before play and take the development of our brothers seriously. In general, we hold a esteem for every brother in The Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity.

The Theta Rho chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon was founded in 1961 St. Cloud State University, and since then has been developing leaders on campus both socially and academically. Theta Rho remains active in the campus community today by co-hosting annual blood drives with the American Red Cross. Theta Rho has been recognized for its philanthropy work by being awarded 1st place team in the Relay For Life sponsored by the American Cancer Association. We are a brotherhood of men dedicated to each other and dedicated to seeking out men of character on campus who are looking for more than just a degree, but a full college experience.

Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity is the largest international fraternity in operation today. We are a social organization with goals centered on academics and the development of college men in their personal and professional lives. As our five founding fathers put so well, the purpose of our fraternity is "to aid college men in mental, moral, and social development." In addition to this, we are proud to be the longest standing fraternity on the Saint Cloud State University campus, celebrating our 50th anniversary in 2011.

We hope you enjoy learning more about our fraternity. If you would like to find out more from a current member, email a Teke or stop by the house anytime. We are currently located at 514 6th Ave.

Tau Kappa Epsilon (ΘΡ) fraternity

Prytanis - President

In our ever-expanding world of fast-paced technologies, instant gratifications, and a social structure which tends to reward brash individualism rather than immortal character, Tau Kappa Epsilon strives to enlighten men through the strengths of determination and patience provided by our brotherhood--assisting the development of staunch uprightness and sterling character. We hold within our roots the deep-seated traditions of our forefathers, honoring the power of fraternal love, unceasing charity, and esteem without prejudice.

The mission statement of Tau Kappa Epsilon is to provide dedicated men the ability to give a part of themselves and divulge, through synergetic will, into something greater than anything they've imagined. The TEKE experience provides a facet for a plentitude of areas, and looks for men of all walks of expertise to assist in the fulfillment of their fellow brothers within our organization. Brothers have access to a plethora of scholastic opportunism through our collective knowledge pool, the chance to coordinate fund-raising events for local or national causes, and a chance to build relationships which last a multitude longer than the entirety of any other collegiate organization.

We pride ourselves as being gentlemen, both in title and valor. If you feel as though you have awoken, on this very day, and found yourself longing for an everlasting personal state of flourish, the men within the Theta-Rho Chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon challenge you to seek us out, and join our ranks.

Sincerley,
